So Sat morning, my wife reminded me that I needed to print out a form for my kids first thing in the morning so we could have it filled out for later. So I rolled over, grabbed the phone, found the form on the web and printed it all without even getting out of bed! I LOVE this!

I've had smartphones for 5 years or so (blackberry style, then iPhone 1gen, then iPhone 4 this fall after the 4s came out and the $'s price went down). So I get to my battalion and I have a government cell I've been issued. One one hand, thankfully it's not a Crackberry, but people send me texts on it and I never really texted when I had a plain old simple flip phone. Texting is a pain on a flip phone! .gif)

Just keeps getting better.... My old printer finally died this week. Probably 5-6 years old now. So we had to replace it. I picked the HP OfficeJet Pro 8600 Plus. Nice fun name that just rolls off the tongue right? LOL!! Anyway, it's an internet connected printer which means I can print from anywhere using an app on my phone. My Phone! AND, it has an app on the printer that connects to my google calendar and allows me to instantly print my calendar without even going to my computer... This thing is amazing!

I have one, but the only thing I can do is call other people. It takes pictures and video, you can watch tv, send email and surf the net. Somehow.

I've had smartphones for years now. Starting with the Motorola Q. I recently (Feb-ish) converted to Android. What blows me away is how connected (and not just connected but how easy it is) these phones have become. Log into your g-mail account. Add an even to your calendar, and 10 seconds later it's on my phone. And my tablet. AND my wife's phone. She has had her android phone for about a month now. Never had a smartphone before. Now she gets ALL my calendar updates and has a real time access to my schedule. Unbelievable. In fact, she switched phones in the middle of the process cause she didn't like the first one. Without having to do anything, all her contacts automatically downloaded to her new phone and she didn't even miss a beat.
